Torpedo Specialty Wire was founded in northwest Pennsylvania by Mr. Henry McConnell in 1959. First incorporated in 1966 in Torpedo, Pennsylvania, the company opened the Rocky Mount, NC facilities in 1973. Several expansions in both locations, brought the total manufacturing facilities to 150,000 square feet, and the company opened a new corporate headquarters in NC during 1997.

Our Pennsylvania focused nickel plating facility is a premier supplier of redraw products which when converted into solid and stranded conductors, find their way into Aircraft high temperature hookup, engine zone safety wiring shielding, and applications such as wrapping wires for the musical string industry.
